Saturated right in front of the lake it has perhaps the best place to enjoy a breakfast for around $15. You might just want to make it last longer by having the bottomless cups of coffee.
Delicious food. Friendly staff. Very fast service.
This place is known for good fish and chips. I liked it. It wasn't overcooked or heavily battered. I ordered the salmon fish and chips and enjoyed it. The service was quick and friendly.
Went here for dinner and the food was good. Not great, not bad...but good. It's pretty standard as far as food goes, something you would see at a food booth or similar. We were seated right away and after we ordered our food came out in less then 10 minutes. Staff were friendly and attentive. Resturant is a bit tired/dated looking, but was clean. I don't think they have AC as it was a bit warm inside and they had the doors propped open but there is a patio option. As far as the prices go, yes they are high but that is typical for any tourist destination. I found it on par with other popular touristy places.
Terrible food fish was absolutely horrible cheeseburger was burnt and terrible gravy was can gravy spent 60 dollars for lunch ended up throwing it out stay away from this place
Do not recommend, tried their fish and chips specialty, which, like their service, was not good. The food was typical small diner fare. Other options near by are probably much better choices.
I had the eggs Benedict and it was terrific! The service was great!
Wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for breakfast while staying in Harrison. The service was horrendous as we had walk up to the kitchen to place our after being ignored by the servers for a good amount of time. They have a breakfast special of: eggs, protein, and hash browns for $14 and if you want a small cup of coffee, it'll be another $4. It wasn't very busy, but the service was that slow and the food was below average. It's right on the strip so it's convenient, but definitely a tourist trap.
This small gelato place serves "large" scoops of ice cream your regular cone can't even hold it! But you can order on a waffle cup for the same price. And I love the many flavor selections, my favorite is "Exotica", I think he said a combination of sweet mango & passion fruit sour (still salivating 🤭!!) The only gentleman in the shop is behind the counter and at the same time the cashier (poor guy), was kind and very patient with every customer in line. We were a group of 8 so it got cozy in there, more so when another group of ladies came in after us and was looking around, one seemingly impatient, wanted to have a sample. There's a sign that says "Pay first before tasting" (or something like that), and when they were told about it, they went out the door! Anyway, everyone had their fill of yummy ice cream.
Our breakfast was VERY good!
Had breakfast here and the service was really slow. It was super busy but clearly not enough staff. The food wasn't very appetizing for the amount they were charging for. I had coffee and it tasted absolutely disgusting. It was watered down and not hot at all.
We just tried 2 different flavors and both were good, service was good as well with welcoming attitude,I would have given them 5 star if the cones were better quality.
I think this is one of the worst restaurants we have ever been to. We ordered breakfast which is a very easy thing to cook and our meals were cold and undercooked. The service was terrible and the prices were very high for what kind of quality food they are serving
The food was all precooked and microwaved to serve. Tasted like instant food from 7-Eleven. The worst of all was the service. They could be much better.
Delicious and simple breakfast! Breakfast menu had lots of options and I like how it is served till 11:30 which is perfect for peoplewho likes to sleep in a little. The fish and chips were delicious as well!
Okay food, regular fare type of menu. Nice light show
Worse restaurant i've ever eat . Bad services bad foods
Only had their gelato but was amazing
An awful experience. Don't waste your time or money. Our bacon was undercooked and cold and we found hair on our toast. Our waiter apologized but didn't give us a discount which would of been the right thing to do. The slice of ham was a joke, it looked like a slice of thin bologna. My advice ... go somewhere else.
Its a small family ran places. I was about to go to another place but they wernt opened. This was the only food place opened for lunch oddly.Sooo let me start by saying you will pay an arm and an leg here. Everything is super expensive with subpar quality.I ordered the following item :Clubhouse sandwhich - presentation looks good but obviously is just a couple of things slapped together. Serving was very fast which mean most likely this was premade and left in the fridge. The fries was the store bought kirkland fries.Hawaiian burger - its just a kirkland burger patty with a slice of pineapple, not super tasty... neither is it super fresh... was precooked already....Halibut and chips - greasy and tastes frozen, really rubberly halibut, felt like i was eating deep fried chicken. The coffee..... just bad..... i dont know how to describe this....Wont come back but this was the only choice available Only positive is its window view
I had a great experience! Sunday morning ....no place what so ever was open for breakfast, except this place! We had 9 ppl. Fast friendly service. Our food was less than 20 mins for ALL 9 PEOPLE! Had the eggs benny.... delicious! The hollandaise sauce was so freakin good. Nice and hot. Everything was just perfect. Not 1 issue with all of our orders.
for the love of god please do not come here. you will be robbed for all you're worth for an egg on an english muffin with one droplet of hollandaise sauce. Literally no effort put in to the food and the servicemade me depressed
the service needed work and was slow. there is only one waitress when there clearly needs to be at least three. tables weren’t sanitized properly which needs to be done especially during covid times. my family and i waited quite a while to even get a table. the food is good. thank you.
Great food! Cofee isn't that great, the milkshakes are just so bomb though... Delicious!
Save your money. Overpriced for concession stand quality food. Food comes quick but how hard is it to throw some fries and bread together? Your paying for a place to sit and look at the view and to use the washroom. Even the coffee isn't gourmet for what they charge.
Good food, good service. Everything is fresh and tasty. I agree with other comments that it is a bit expensive
This is attached to the restaurant. We got the tornado potato here and it was very good. It's a real potato - not frozen - that this is spiraled and deep fried then sprinkled with some flavoring. Warning to comes out very hot, but yummy. I'd eat it again.
Because of this, we decided not to stay the night in Harrison and we headed back home.I CANNOT EVEN POST THIS ARTICLE UNLESS I CLICK ON A STARActually they are the worst we have ever been to. After a nice dinner at another place in town and a walk around to listen to music on the beach, we decided on Nachos at this place. Waiter (bad attitude) walked away mumbling something to co-workers. Brought mostly unheated nacho dish to us. Cheese (what little there was) un-melted, jalapeno pepper was cut to chunks. While we ate our uncooked food, the four staff sat around at a table playing with their cellphones. When some other people came in, the chef went back into the kitchen, (most likely by all the other standards these guys had..didn't wash his hands).
If I had the option I’d give this place 0 stars. As soon as I walked in witch my family, the waiter was very cold and kept us waiting for a long time. His attitude was not the best. He also did not sanitize the tables properly which bothered me for the entire course of my tasteless, dull, bland meal (which was also overpriced).
Not so good. Fries were good, fish was so greasy, coleslaw was bland, tortilla was boring, no salsa, chicken strips were dry and white??? Overpriced for poor quality fast food. Service was quick but we were the only people in the restaurant. Usually I clue into things like this but I guess we just wanted a quick bite. First and last time.
AVOID!!! Tried this place a few times, and each time was worse than the last. Somehow they've managed to make simple breakfast food taste disgusting every single time. Bad service and last time we were there, they overcharged us and then refused to honour original price (that's clearly stated on the menu). Never, ever going back again!!!
Really enjoy my rich vegetarian breakfast with perfect lake-view. Coffee is made by Starbucks coffee beans. The waiter is friendly.
Service was fairly quick considering they had to accommodate a large group but unfortunately the food was below subpar and overpriced for the quality you get. On top of that, I found a nice curly hair in my poutine. 🤢
DO NOT EAT HERE! they have the heat turned off to save money, the holondaise was transparent, the Lazer thin ham cold and the pancake soggy. All the people surrounding us were mumbling similar complaints. Not to mention twenty dollar eggs Benny!
Just horrible, had to wait for cutlery for 5 min. Stuff is broken and dirty and bad service.
Nice and friendly 👍🏻
The food was meh and way overpriced. The server was rude to us. We felt unwelcome and we just wanted to eat and leave.
Terrible service, barely palatable food, overpriced. The only way this place is still in business is thanks to its location where unsuspecting tourists wander in by mistake. I honestly don't know how the average rating of this place can be higher than a star. Considering the consistency of poor reviews (including Yelp) it makes me suspicious of the few "5 stars". There are other lake-side restaurants with patio, stay far away from this one.
Absolutely NOPE......my $16 crab wrap was literally lettuce and fake crab in a plain wrap with watery mayo pouring all over the place. Tasteless. The yam fries were good though and the view was amazing!
The pulled pork poutine is my all time favorite dish, I'll eat it myself! The breakfast dish tasted great, i had the build your own omelet with sourdough toast - substituting a piece of french toast instead of hashbrowns. When visiting Harrison, i always make a stop at the Lakeview Restaurant. Prices are in line with the rest of resort town.
I would give zero star if there’s a choice. Worst fish & chips ever. Paid $60 for these and they’re tasteless. Very disappointed. How can someone make salmon taste like cardboard?
Very disappointed with service. I haven't received my food as I have to leave asap. When asked to cancel the order, they just said its my problem. No money no food at the end. Will not recommend to anyone
Don't let the old fashion diner fool you. Stay far away from this place. The meal was terrible. The fish and soup were awful. They used velveeta cheese and wonder bread. It shows the owners don't care for their customers. Where's the passion? $$$$
Service was good, and the view into the lake was nice. However, the food was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I ordered a spinach omelette, and it was literally cooked by just throwing a few eggs and some spinach together and call it an omelette. Adding this to the hefty price tag of $19.99, and the same quality of the rest that we ordered, I don’t recommend anyone to go eat there.
The fish and chips were hot. The pie slice was huge. The service was a bit slow likely due to language barrier. We ordered pie and it took a while to get the order. Also there is canned jazz music with piano that is a bit loud if you are inside.
One word. DELICIOUS!The food was delicious and came out quick! The owners were fast to accommodate us with our choice of seating as well as giving our daughter a baby plate and fork and when she got fussy due to hunger they gave her a toy robot to play with. All in all great experience!!
Lovely view, good service, below average food.
Small little restuarant in the heart of Harrison hot springs. Food was decent and well priced. Service was quick and efficient.
Cute little old-style diner, but the food is NOT worth the prices charged. $15.95 for a chicken and cheese quesadilla that was literally a few chunks of chicken and a sprinkling of cheese folded into a dry-fried tortilla. The prices do NOT match the quality of the food nor the ambiance of the place. Also ordered a glass of wine and I swear it was watered down.
Family run diner. Friendly service. Food is brought at decently fast timem for breakfast they have some more unique items like bacon and corn pancakes or the Hawaiian breakfast wrap. Would come again
